SUNDAY SERMON ON THE BLOG #5.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. - 2 Corinthians 3:18.

When any person is converted to Jesus, then the veil of ignorance is taken away. The condition of those who enjoy and believe the gospel is happiness, for the heart is set free, to run the ways of God's commandments. They have light, they can see, and they behold the glory of the Lord. Hallelujah!

“Transformed ... from glory to glory.” In other words, it's an ongoing process, but with the continual help of the Spirit, we're going to arrive at our goal... to be like Jesus!

The point is not to give up on our journey. Let's keep looking to Jesus, and keep trusting that the Holy Spirit is doing God's work in us, making us more and more like Jesus each day. Hallelujah!

Loving Father, please forgive me for the times when I've let my faith grow complacent, and I've lost my focus on Jesus. Help me by the power of the Holy Spirit, as I try to be more deliberate in my plans, especially my spiritual maturity. Please make me more like Jesus each day. In Jesus' wonderful name I pray. Amen.

Be encouraged!
