UPDATE... BIBLE BAN SCRAPPED

Here is an update on my post last week on BIBLES BANNED IN SCOTLAND... It is just another example that God answers prayer, thanks to all of you who prayed!

Apr 21 2005

A PLAN to ban the Bible in students' rooms has been axed after a storm of protest.

Up to 6000 Gideon Bibles were to be removed from Stirling University's halls of residence amid fears they may offend non-Christians.

The Stirling University Students' Association voted 15-1 in favour of the move last week but were bombarded with complaints. All religious groups will now be invited to supply copies of their holy texts.

Student union president Al Wilson said: "Many people sent letters saying it's disgusting and students said it's a step too far"
